Several mansions along the Cliff Walk were used as shooting locations, including:
- The Breakers, originally owned by the Vanderbilt family. The 1-acre mansion has 70 rooms, including 48 bedrooms and 27 fireplaces.
- Rosecliff, formerly a site of Newport’s most lavish parties. Several films have also been shot here, including "The Great Gatsby," "True Lies" and "27 Dresses."
- Marble House, another property of the Vanderbilt family. The 50-room mansion got its name by containing 500,000 cubic feet of marble.
