SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

*Please note that orders will only ship in full. Any order containing a pre-ordered product will be delayed in its entirety.


SHIPPING TIMELINES

*Please note that shipping time does not include the processing time. 

Orders typically process within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). During high-volume periods, processing may take an additional 24–48 hours. Delays may also occur due to severe weather, emergency situations, or additional security verification.

Once shipped, delivery times are as follows:

  • Standard Shipping (continental U.S.): up to 7 business days
  • Standard Shipping (Alaska, Hawaii, and international): up to 4 weeks
  • Expedited Shipping (continental U.S. only): 2–4 business days

 

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email. Please allow up to 72 hours for tracking updates to appear.

We want to give you the best possible shopping experience and we know processing and transit time is a big part of that, so we are constantly reviewing and updating our process to make it better and quicker in regards to getting orders shipped and delivered.

 

TAXES (VAT), DUTIES, AND OTHER MISC. SHIPPING FEES

Prices displayed on the website do not include Taxes (VAT), Duties, and any other Shipping Fees.

Customers are responsible for any Taxes (VAT), Duties, and any other Shipping Fees are charged to receive an order outside of the US.  These costs will be presented at checkout and included in the final amount of your order in order to ensure a hassle-free delivery experience.

*Shipping fees are non-refundable

ORDER CANCELLATIONS & ADDRESS ACCURACY

 Orders can be canceled or updated within 30 minutes of placement or until fulfilled, whichever comes first. This option is available on the Thank You page and Order Status page. If you no longer see this option, your order has already been processed and cannot be changed.

Please note that orders begin processing shortly after they are placed, and our system does not pause fulfillment while requests are reviewed. Once an order has begun processing for shipment, we are unable to make changes, including address updates or cancellations, and cannot place orders on hold.

Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout, including when using express payment methods such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, or PayPal, as these may auto-fill saved addresses.

Once an order has been processed, we are unable to change or reroute the shipment. We recommend contacting the carrier directly, as they may be able to assist with rerouting or marking the package as “Return to Sender.” While not guaranteed, this is typically the most effective option once the order is in transit.

If an order is shipped to an incorrect address, we can only offer a reshipment once it has been returned to us by the carrier. 

 

SHIPMENT CANCELLATIONS

We do our best to fulfill all orders; however, we reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel your order (in whole or in part) for any reason and at any time after receipt of your order. We may require additional verifications of information before shipping any order. Your order is not accepted until it is shipped.

In the event your order is cancelled, a customer service representative will promptly inform you via customerservice@commodityfragrances.com and assist you with placing a successful order.

 

"DELIVERED" BUT NOT RECEIVED 

If your order is marked as “delivered” but cannot be located, please contact Customer Service within 7 business days of the delivery date. 

Before reaching out, we recommend the following:
  • Wait 3 business days, as carriers may mark packages as delivered before they arrive.
  • Check with neighbors, building staff, or your local post office.

 

We may require additional information to proceed with a claim or investigation with the carrier or insurance provider. If delivery is verified, we are unable to provide a replacement or refund.

Orders confirmed lost or undelivered are eligible for replacement only. If your order is reshipped, it must be sent to the same address and the replacement is considered final sale.

If you pre-sign for a signature required package, please note that you waive your right to a replacement or refund if the package is lost or does not arrive.

We reserve the right to deny reshipments or credits based on our review.

*We do not recommend shipping high value orders to locations where the customer is not personally available to sign, including freight forwarders, hotels, or leasing office mailrooms. Any shipment sent to one of these addresses is at the customer’s risk. If the carrier marks the order as delivered, it will not qualify for a replacement or refund. Any concerns about missing items should be taken up with the staff at the delivery location.

 

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards will be digitally delivered to the provided email address. If your gift card purchase includes a Gift with Purchase, please note that shipping charges will apply if your order total is below the free shipping threshold. If you prefer to forfeit the gift with purchase in order to avoid shipping charges, you can either close the gift slider right after adding your gift card, or If the gift is already in your cart, remove all items and start fresh so you can exit the gift slider before continuing checkout.
