A while back I had received a travel size bottle of this scent from Sephora and it has haunted me (in a good way) ever since. I held onto the last bits for special occasions in fear I'd run out. I'm so so happy I invested in the large bottle. This scent is so warm, cozy and sweet but not sickly. It manages to be the right amount of sexy and mysterious without being too overpowering.

Compared to its companion scents in this range, Velvet's sweeter facets stand out more, complementing the woody notes. Overall this makes for a signature worthy scent that is chic and velvety. Facets of smokiness pop out on my skin too but this is an excellent unique fragrance that stand out.

There is no modesty when it comes to the Bold collection. These are amplified renditions of their 'Expressive' counterpart and embody the concept of more is more. Ambery and elegant, this scent opens with smoky sweet notes of Roasted Almonds. Then, as the minutes pass and the scent comes to life, you'll begin to notice Rose Petals and White Woods. For the final chapter, deep Amber and Vanilla bring about an addictive close.
