Tonka was interesting, it’s very powdery and smelled more leathery and a bit smoky on my skin. It was very eye opening, because when I thought Tonka, I was thinking bc it would smell like coffee a chocolatey coffee scent. (I’m new to Tonka and did not look it up before hand) This would be for those that can enjoy a powdery smoky leather spray, with a slightly sweet dry down. Although not for me, I can see it pairing well with their Velvet, Milk or Spice scents for the fall/winter for sure!

I was initially not drawn to the description, it sounded nice but not something I would normally reach for because I’m not a gourmand fan. BUT my preconceived notion immediately disappeared when I tried Tonka. On me, this starts off as a very powdery, sophisticated baby powder, but in the best way. It dries down to a luxurious, clean, warm Tonka with a hint of vanilla and almond, but not overly foodie, if that makes sense. It’s warm and comforting, projection is fantastic and lasts all day & all night. It is part of my nightly routine and a new favorite. I love this one post shower & right before cuddling up for the night. New instant favorite, I find myself reaching for it and even craving it as it’s a part of my nightly routine. I’m just not ready for bed until I’m wearing this. It’s perfect and I’m going to need a lifetime worth of bottles.
