Sense of Summer Series: Must-See Museums in the US

Sense of Summer Series, Week 3

As a Modern, American Perfumery, we are excited to kick-off our ‘Sense of Summer’ series, formerly known as Summer Fridays. All season, we’ll be uncovering hidden gems across the US that'll awaken your 5 senses.

This week, we're continuing our series with “sight.” Grab your favorite Book and join us as we take you through a tour of our favorite museums and art galleries to visit across the US. Trust us, these are worth a closer look.

Musical Instrument Museum, AZ

Music is the language of the soul, and Bob Ulrich brought this connection to life through a new kind of museum known as The Musical Instrument Museum (MIM).

Located in Phoenix, Arizona, MIM is celebrated as “The World’s Only Global Musical Instrument Museum,” showcasing the diverse instruments that are played by people all around the world.

While visiting, you can see more than 7,500 instruments from over 200 countries and territories. With its immersive exhibits, moving concerts, and educational programs, this music museum in the US is enriching, inspiring, and fun for all ages.

Art Omi, NY

There’s so much to see and do at this unique arts center, it promises no two trips will be the same. Located on 120 acres in New York’s Hudson Valley, Art Omi is home to the amazing works of contemporary artists and architects.

While you walk around and explore, you will find a range of must-see, large-scale works in nature, plus a 1,500 square foot gallery. Its Sculpture & Architecture Park features more than 60 works on view, with pieces added or exchanged annually.

Art Galleries in Chelsea, NY

If you are planning a sightseeing adventure in NYC, we recommend taking some time to walk around Chelsea and view the hundreds of art galleries in the neighborhood.

While gallery-hopping, you’ll see world-class contemporary art, exhibition openings, events, and more at the leading galleries and exhibits in Chelsea, which is commonly known as Manhattan’s art district.

What to Spray

With notes of fresh Eucalyptus, warm Sandalwood, and crisp Cedarwood, Book Expressive perfectly complements a museum visit. It evokes the thrill of discovering new art and savoring quiet moments of reflection.
