ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
** THIS FRAGRANCE WILL SHIP ON JULY 20th**
This woody fragrance captures the warmth of a perfectly cozy sweater. Like cashmere, it provides the pure indulgence of soft, sensual textures caressing the skin with notes of rich amber, earthy vetiver and sweet bourbon vanilla.
Commodity Wool is part of the Black Collection which includes dark, moody and intense fragrances for him, for her and for you.
"I was inspired by the comforts of home on a cold winter’s night snuggled beside a crackling fire wrapped in the soothing softness of the most precious handcrafted material of a silky wool blanket beneath me. The feeling radiates a completely comforting mood when my skin feels the soft touch of wool, both warm and sensual with a luxurious touch."—Donna Ramanauskas, Master Perfumer

The smell is great it’s not over powering like other colognes it’s a perfect balance of vibrancy
I’m not sure how I stumbled on this fragrance but i am in love, I’ve also gotten multiple friends to buy it! It smells great for men or women!
The label seemed glued on. The reason I purchased this cologne was because I received a sample via Birchbox. I’m all about the entire package and was disappointed with how sloppy the label looked on the bottle. Other than that, it’s still smells good.
I admit I have really only given this one a couple tries and not a full wear. It's the middle of a stifling hot summer and Wool seems more suited to fall & winter. It opens with top notes of mandarin, grapefruit, and apple which is an interesting combination considering the mids and base. I do smell the grapefruit and apple. As it dries down I get a clean, laundry sort of musk with lavender, vanilla, and amber. I am not a huge fan of lavender in perfume but this one is different so I am giving it a chance. I am definitely going to come back to giving this a full day wear in the fall or winter when the weather cools down. It seems like it will be very cozy. But I do think it really needs low temps to shine.
