ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
** THIS FRAGRANCE WILL SHIP ON JULY 20th**
This fragrance’s crisp aroma is one that nature would be proud of. Fresh, green and earthy, its blend of oakmoss, cedarwood and petitgrain is reminiscent of a walk in the woods at dawn—wet, cool, clean and reviving.
Commodity Moss is part of the Black Collection which includes dark, moody and intense fragrances for him, for her and for you.
"My love of nature allows me to spend a lot of my time outdoors, being grounded and conscious of the earth’s natural resources. Breathing in the fresh crispness of a walk in the woods, taking early morning hikes alongside a babbling brook filled with moss-lined rocks covered in dew releases a vibrant energy through the open trails between the blue sky and the roots of earth, connecting my personal space with nature."—Donna Ramanauskas, Master Perfumer

This scent is perfect, and so far it seems to stay throughout the day. Many expensive bottles of new “favorites” have disappointed in the long haul because they disappear within a couple of hours. I also have weird skin chemistry that transforms many beautiful perfumes into chemical horrors. This is of course a little different on skin than from the bottle, but not noticeably so. For me, it’s clean and grassy with a warmth to it.
Several years ago my husband and I got the sample sets and we kind of loved them all! It was a hard choice when the fragrances became available again but my husband chose Moss for his summer scent and its so good! Love the freshness!
I like this fragrance enough to give it 5 stars but so far I haven't even given it an all day wear yet. Just a few times before bed. It starts out citrusy and green with bergamot and petitgrain and dries down fairly quickly, you can smell a bit of cedar and maybe musk. Unfortunately I don't quite get the oakmoss, or I guess the earthiness I was expecting it to be. It's more of a bright yellow-green, not a dark brown-green... if it exemplified a color. But it's still a lovely, refreshing scent! And it was my first try with Commodity. I have just purchased a full bottle of Rain and I've heard they layer well together, so I look forward to seeing how they mesh. I would recommend for people who like green, earthy or citrusy scents.
This must be my absolute favorite scent by Commodity 10/10 recommend
